Candlelight Garden Stamp of the Month

Hello and welcome aboard our Close To My Heart December 2015 Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Vandra's Virtual CTMH Craftroomyou are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today, I would like to share with you four cards I have made that feature the December Stamp of the Month, Candlelight GardenThis stamp set is available only in December 2015 for $27, or for just $7.50 when you spend $75 or more.

When I first saw the Candlelight Garden stamp set in the Holiday Expressions Idea Book, I fell in LOVE! I mean, seriously, have a look at this stamp set! It is completely adorable.  Can't you just see the many possibilities for cards, page layouts, gift bags and decor items?  And this stamp set is perfect for pairing with your Watercolour Paints, Watercolour Pencils or ShinHan Touch Twin Markers!

So I eagerly set to work, and this is what I created...

My first card is so simple to create. I started by stamping the images onto White Daisy Cardstock with Memento Black Ink and colouring them in with my CTMH Watercolour Pencils before mounting onto Kraft Cardstock.  I then stamped the 'Thank You' sentiment, dovetailed the end and mounted in onto a piece of Cranberry Cardstock.  I used a 4" x 5.25" piece of Cranberry Cardstock and a strip of B&T Paper from the La Vie En Rose Paper Packet as the background for this card and finished by embellishing the card with 3 Clear Sparkles.

This second card design is inspired by the card on page 38 of the Holiday Expressions Idea Book.  As you can see, I started by heat embossing the mason jar and flowers in gold.  Then I coloured the images in using my CTMH Watercolour Paints.  I used my Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors to cut around the image (don't you love how precisely these scissors cut?) before adhering it to White Daisy Cardstock with 3-D Foam Tape.

The base of the card was created with a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of Kraft Cardstock, embossed using the Damask Embossing Folder adhered to the front of one of the White Cards from our Value Pack of Cards and Envelopes. Onto of the craft I adhered a strip of B&T paper from the La Vie En Rose Paper Packet and added a strip of Gold Shimmer Trim.  I mounted the image on a piece of Pomegranate Cardstock before heat embossing the sentiment in gold on Pomegranate Cardstock before adhering it to the front of the card using Thin 3-D Foam Tape. I finished the card by adding a Pink Enamel Gem, 2 Red Enamel Gems and a Gold Sequin.

This card features more stamps and sentiment from the Candlelight Garden stamp set.  The featured products include Pomegranate and Kraft Cardstock, B&T Paper from the La Vie En Rose Paper Packet, Memento Stamp Pad, Gold Embossing Powder, Red Enamel Gems, Gold Shimmer Trim and my CTMH Watercolour Pencils.

My final card design again features the cute mason jar and flowers from the Candlelight Garden stamp set.  I have used my CTMH Watercolour Pencils to colour the images.  The card also features Kraft and Juniper Cardstock, the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and Gold Sequins.
