Adore You- CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Today, I would like to share with you a few projects that I have created featuring the January Stamp of the Month, Adore You. This stamp set, which is featured in our NEW Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book, is available only in January 2017 for $27, or for just $7.50 when you spend $75 or more.

Adore You is a completely "adorable", love-themed stamp set that is perfect for creating Valentine's Day, thank you and friendship-inspired cards and tags; special gifts for your loved-ones and swoon-worthy scrapbook layouts.  The stamp set features heart and floral images that can be coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers, Watercolour Paints or Watercolour Pencils.

My first project is a sweet Valentine's Day page layout. The original design for the page layout comes from a scrapbooking workshop I designed using the NEW Sugar Rush creative collection that is featured in the Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book.  I thought the layout would look fabulous with the cute floral heart stamp from the Adore You Stamp of the Month. I stamped the image and sentiment using the Black Memento Ink Pad and coloured in the flowers using my ShinHan Touch Twin Markers. Now the layout is ready for some fun Valentine's Day photos of me and my hubby! 

My second project is a simple love-themed card.  I created this card using Thistle Cardstock, Thistle patterned paper from the Whimsy Fundamentals and Gold Shimmer Trim.  I stamped the floral heart image onto White Daisy Cardstock that I painted with CTMH Watercolour Paints and coloured the flowers using ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.  I stamped the sentiment using the Black Memento Ink Pad.

My third project is based on one of the optional card designs from the NEW Sugar Rush Workshops Your Way Scrapbooking Kit. I used the free instructional guide to create the basic card layout and then added the stamped heart to the front to complete the design.  

To create the floral heart embellishment, I painted a piece of White Daisy Cardstock with a red ombre (dark to light) watercolour wash using my CTMH Watercolour Paints and large flat paintbrush. Once dried, I stamped the floral heart image onto the painted cardstock using the Black Memento Ink Pad and then coloured the flowers using my Shin Han Touch Twin Markers. I cut out the floral heart image using my Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors and attached the heart with Thin 3-D Foam Tape.

My final project is a fun, monochromatic card design.  For this card, I have carried the one colour theme through from the Raspberry Cardstock base, into the Raspberry stamped heart and finally into the colour of the flowers using my Cherry Pink ShinHan Touch Twin Marker. 

I really like this simple monochromatic look that is broken only by the Black Cardstock mat, green leaves and the Gold Glitter Gems from the NEW Hello Lovely creative collection. 

The following four cards all use the same simple layout, but feature different colours from the Adventure colour family- Lagoon, Blossom, Pansy and Lemon.  I love the bright, fun look of these cards.  Yes, there was a bit of "fussy cutting" involved, but I believe they were worth the effort!
