Tea-rrific- CTMH Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Close To My Heart March 2017 Tea-rrific Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Wendy Hopper's Expressions of the Heartthen you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today, I would like to share with you a few projects that I have designed and created featuring the March Stamp of the Month, Tea-rrific. This stamp set, which is featured in our NEW Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book, is available only in March 2017 for $27, or for just $7.50 when you spend $75 or more.

Tea-rrific is a completely "adorable", Mother's Day and friendship-themed stamp set that is perfect for creating Mother's Day cards, friendship-inspired cards and tags; special gifts for your loved-ones and whimsical scrapbook layouts.  The stamp set features cute tea cup images that can be coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin MarkersWatercolour Paints or Watercolour Pencils

My first project is a set of cute bookmarks! For those of you who have met me in real life, you already know that I LOVE BOOKS! I have a been an avid reader since I was very young and reading still brings me so much pleasure (even though these days I don't seem to have as much time to curl up with a good book as I would like to)!  Something that you may not know about me however, is that I collect bookmarks! True fact! I have A LOT of fun, beautiful, fabulous bookmarks in my collection! And now I have 2 more...

What do you think of these hand-crafted bookmarks? I created them using the super cute tea cup stack and "you are tea-rrific" stamps from the Tea-rrific March Stamp of the Month and the adorable turtle from the Some Kinda Wonderful Cardmaking stamp set. I stamped them on White Daisy Cardstock using the Black Memento Ink Pad and coloured them in using my ShinHan Touch Twin Markers. I mounted them on coloured Cardstock (Raspberry and Pacific) and added a coordinating bow cut from the Cricut! A little bit of bling in the form of a Gold Glitter Gem on each bow and you have two bookmarks!

For my next projects, I decided to create a couple of fun cards featuring the bookmarks as design elements on the cards.  Here is the Sugar Rush/ Raspberry version:

And here is the Some Kinda Wonderful/ Pacifica version:

I have adhered the front panels to the card using 3-D Foam Tape to give them some dimension and pop. These were super-easy and very quick cards to create and I think they work! Well I hope they do, as these two cards are going to feature in a couple of my upcoming cardmaking workshops this month!

My final project is a Mother's Day card for, you guessed it, my beautiful mum! Honestly, how can I ever thank my mum for all of her unconditional love, support and generosity over the years.  Well, I can start with a handmade card created with love and go from there!

This card has been created with strips of paper from the Hello Lovely Paper Packet as I just the love the softness of this paper so much and I think it is the perfect collection for Mother's Day cards! I stamped the tea cups and flowers using the Black Memento Ink Pad, cut them using my Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors before colouring them with my ShinHan Touch Twin Markers. I mounted them on White Daisy Cardstock, added a doodled border with my Black Journalling Pen, then adhered that to a Fern Cardstock mat before adding to the front of my card. I added some Clear Sparkles to the front of the card because every card must have bling! LOL! Don't you agree?
