Today, we will be sharing ideas using the Happy Everything D sized stamp set which is featured on the back page of our Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book. For each Happy Everything stamp set sold until 31st July 2015, Close To My Heart will donate $3USD directly to Operation Smile.
Close To My Heart is partnered with Operation Smile, an organization that provides free, life-changing surgery that repairs smiles and reshapes lives, one child at a time. Since 2008, Close To My Heart has provided support to change the lives of over 1,500 children and their families.
Below is my project featuring the Happy Everything stamp set. It's a sweet card with oodles of flowers, because who doesn't feel "oh my happy" when they see flowers? I started with one of our 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" White Daisy card bases and adhered a piece of Lagoon Cardstock to the front and then built up the layers of paper and cardstock from there. I love the dotty paper from the Seaside Paper packer, so I wanted it to have a starring role in the background. I also really like the texture that the Woodgrain Embossing on the Sorbet Scallop Circle gives to the card. Of course I used a mix of Thin 3-D Foam Tape and 3-D Foam Tape to create various heights for the flowers from the Pretty Petals stamp set. And to finish the card, I used Clear Sparkles in the centres of the flowers to add a bit of bling!
