I really do love the combination of the new Seaside Paper Packet and the August Stamp of the Month, 'What a Hoot'. Seaside is one of the nine paper collections recently released in the the CTMH 2014- 2015 Annual Inspirations Idea Book. It is perfect for celebrating fun weekends at the beach or a tropical island get-away as well as a range of other everyday occasions.
As you can see, I have had fun colouring this adorable owl with the new ShinHan Touch Twin Markers. The colours I have used are Turquoise Blue, Clay and Pastel Green because I like the way they compliment the colours in the Seaside B&T Paper I have used for this card.

I have ink distressed the edges of the paper and card stock used on this card with Desert Sand Exclusives Ink. I just love the look and feel of ink distressing with the Seaside papers. The distressed look of the papers just asks for the aged look that ink distressing adds to a project.
My second card design is inspired by a card made by the very talented Cheryl Narracott, who is a consultant in my CTMH Team. The "3-panels" look is one of our go-to design when making a quick and easy "5-minute" card. Here the card has been dressed up with the zipper strip from the top of paper placed horizontally across the card and a simple sentiment stamped directly onto the paper using Desert Sand ink. The owl has been stamped in Black Archival Ink and coloured with the ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.
