Australasian Operation Smile 'Happy Everything' Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our Australasian Operation Smile Blog Hop.  If you have arrived here from Maz Wood's Inky Fingers Blog, then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today, we will be sharing ideas using the Happy Everything D sized stamp set which is featured on the back page of our Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book.  For each Happy Everything stamp set sold until 31st July 2015, Close To My Heart will donate $3USD directly to Operation Smile.

Close To My Heart is partnered with Operation Smile, an organization that provides free, life-changing surgery that repairs smiles and reshapes lives, one child at a time. Since 2008, Close To My Heart has provided support to change the lives of over 1,500 children and their families.

Below is my project featuring the Happy Everything stamp set.  It's a sweet card with oodles of flowers, because who doesn't feel "oh my happy" when they see flowers?  I started with one of our 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" White Daisy card bases and adhered a piece of Lagoon Cardstock to the front and then built up the layers of paper and cardstock from there.  I love the dotty paper from the Seaside Paper packer, so I wanted it to have a starring role in the background.  I also really like the texture that the Woodgrain Embossing on the Sorbet Scallop Circle gives to the card.  Of course I used a mix of Thin 3-D Foam Tape and 3-D Foam Tape to create various heights for the flowers from the Pretty Petals stamp set.  And to finish the card, I used Clear Sparkles in the centres of the flowers to add a bit of bling!

Ingredients used in this project:
Happy Everything Operation Smile stamp set (sentiment)
Pretty Petals stamp set (flowers)
Shower Flowers stamp set (leaves)

Here are a few more projects I have created recently featuring the Operation Smile Happy Everything stamp set including a mini album and a few cute cards! As you can see, this stamp is incredibly versatile and can compliment any colour combination and is perfect for cards for both males and females of all ages!

The Happy Everything stamp set is available from your CTMH Independent Consultant and remember $3USD from every purchase of this stamp set made until 31st July 2015 will go directly to Operation Smile. You can also choose to make a donation of any size directly to your Consultant.  Donations over $2 are tax deductible.  Please visit the Operation Smile Webpage to discover more about the amazing work done by Operation Smile.
