Today, I would like to share with you a card I made that features the July Stamp of the Month, Life is Wonderful. This stamp set is available only in July 2015 for $27, or for just $5 when you spend $75. It is the last of 12 glorious, exclusive Stamp of the Month stamp sets featured in our CTMH 2014- 2015 Annual Inspirations Idea Book.
I am completely in love with the Enchantment Cardstock Combo Pack at the moment. I can't get enough of the gorgeous warm colours from this colour palette. Maybe it's because we are in the middle of winter here at the moment! Anyway, I've been creating lots of crafty projects featuring these colours lately and I decided they were just perfect for the card project I had in mind for the July Stamp of the Month.
My Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge got quite the work out for this particular card design! I used it to cut the fancy shape that features the title and the matting for that, the three roses (I cut 2 each of three different roses for an interesting look) and the leaves too!
Ingredients used to create this project:
Life is Wonderful July Stamp of the Month
Cricut Art Philosophy Collection
2.75" Colonial White <Rectangle 7>, p.55; cut 1
3" Olive <Rectangle 7>, p.55; cut 1
2.5" Autumn Terracotta rose, Font shift, p. 70; cut 2
2.5" Goldrush rose, Font shift, p. 69; cut 2
2.5" Barn Red rose, Font shift, p. 68; cut 2
2" New England Ivy <Branch 1> shift, p. 43; cut 2
5 5/16" x 4 1/16" Smokey Plum Cardstock
Cocoa Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
Desert Sand Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
Diamond Embossing Folder
Dauber (to use with the Desert Sand Ink to distress all of the pieces)
Quilling Tool
Liquid Glass
Memory Book Glue Dots
Bonding Memories Glue Pen
Thin 3-D Foam Tape
Firstly, I cut all of the pieces I needed from the Cricut. I rolled the roses using my Quilling Tool and adhered them with the Liquid Glass. I then stamped the "Wonderful" sentiment from the July Stamp of the Month onto the Colonial White Cardstock using the Cocoa Ink. I embossed the Smokey Plum Cardstock using the Diamond Embossing Folder and ink distressed around the edges of all of the pieces of cardstock (except the roses) using the Dauber and Desert Sand Ink. Finally, I assembled the card as shown using Thin 3-D Foam Tape to adhere the sentiment and mat, Glue Dots to adhere the roses to the card and the Bonding Memories Glue Pen to adhere the leaves.
